The Brachfeld dynasty was established by the late Charles (Chaskel) Brachfeld. Charles Brachfeld, a second generation diamond dealer, started his business in 1923 in Antwerp. In the early 60’s, as a pioneer and leader of the industry, he started building the C.B.S.  building, which was inaugurated by Charles himself in 1967.

Over the years, Brachfeld & Sons was awarded with several royal medals for advancing the diamond industry in Belgium. In 1967 Charles was appointed a knight in the order of the late King Bauduin . His son, Harry Brachfeld, following the path of his father, was appointed a knight in the order of King Albert II. Together with his son Robert and grandsons Michael and Chaski (Frederique) he is continuing the business based on the pillars of honesty, sincerity and customer relation defined by his father.

As headquarters of the Brachfeld group, our first-hand rough comes to the Antwerp office. There it is sorted and then sent into the right pipeline. The Antwerp based office markets the polished diamonds to the European and Middle Eastern market.
